Golden Trophy is one of the world stops of the international wakeboard federation IWWF. It takes place annually in Bratislava where all kinds of riders from the world competing against each other. Its an event with many points to reach for the world ranking so its pretty much a big deal for all of us. The weather was awesome tho sometimes too hot. But everybody was in a party mood for the entire weekend. Qualifications were on friday and I competed in the category Master Ladies which is over 30. I had 5 other competitors but we all are friends. So it was such a fun to rock the competition with us all. At the qualifying I ended up 3 which means I can start at final at 3rd last. Saturday was finals day. Nervous day. We all had 2 runs which means you can fall once. But in the other run you should ride through your tricks to catch up with the competitors. In my first run I fell in the middle of my run. My second heat was not perfect but it was enough to get that 3rd place podium medal with me home. In the end we all partied and celebrated the happening.
