Continuing the Youngblood outreach program with Duotone UK (Emma Beckinsale), Lewis Crathern visited schools in the local area before hosting the Youngblood weekend with Tom Court at the Beach Cafe in Littlehampton/West Sussex.

School visits included an interactive assembly where Lewis spoke about a number of topics including staying healthy, looking after the environment, how to get into kitesurfing and thinking about how things are made. Duotone's Concept Blue range became a great focal point during the discussion about our collective responsibility to create sustainable items that limit our environmental impact.

Students were handed Lewis's 'Wonderful Wind' Program brochure and treated to a demonstration on the field followed by a Q&A session.

The Youngblood Event was then delivered on the weekend for 8 young people of varied ability. The emphasis not purely on finding the next best talent but to offer tips and advice for young people to enjoy the sport of kiteboarding. Lewis and Tom shared their journeys and key points on what it takes to be a professional. A beach clean took place and tailored Pilates session. Parents were also engaged during the day and advise was given to them on how they can manage their children's aspirations within the sport.
