The first time I came to The Philippines my plan was to stay only for the time the competition was happening. It was the first time the Blue Palawan was taking place and it was also my first time doing a kitepark event. The qualifiers went completely amazing for me putting myself in 1st position for the finals with the max amount of points but not being too experienced in competitions made me not make my best in the finals.
This was only the start of a 3 years anual pilgrimage to this part of the planet. Since then a million things happened. Some more funny, some other not funny at all.
It was also the second time in my life I was traveling alone out of Europe back then. Now I am already a pro in this thing of traveling and snuggling extra kilos in the airport.
Only Google knows how many kilometers I've done in this country, how many hours I've spend in planes, endless busses... And how many hours I've spend in the water, training and smiling.
